Island Time with Mary: Weekdays 10am - 2pm

Island Time with Mary

The silky smooth sound of Mary Pahi on Island Time is infotainment - Pacific Style. Packed with news, views, interviews, sport, politics, food, entertainment, gossip, talk back...it's all there on Island Time.

Having worked as a journalist for just about every media organisation in the country, Mary's our "Media" girl about town.

She has worked behind the scenes as a director as well as a presenter for both TV3 and TVNZ.

For three years she graced our screens as Nurse Ana Fa'asolo on Shortland Street.  The shows first ever Pacific Island nurse.

Even though Ana Fa'asolo was Samoan, Mary is Tongan and Maori
(Rereahu ki Maniapoto) and warmly refers to herself as a "Maongan"

She hails from a family of broadcasters with big brothers Willie Losé the sports talk back host at Newstalk ZB and veteran journalist Joseph Losé at Fairfax News Limited.

Tune in to Island Time with Mary Pahi, weekdays ten to two on Radio 531PI.

PEDA Ltd not the only benefactors of the $4.8m

Great news for our Pacific Community Agencies. Island Time interviewed the CEO of the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs - Dr Colin Tukuitonga

It’s always better to have part of something than all of nothing.

Extra . Extra. Read all about it…. $4.8m dollars of “New Money” for Pacific Economic Development in the 2010 Budget. Yay!!!

If it's Brown - it's going down...the unspoken, unwritten unfair law in Aotearoa media.
