PEDA Ltd not the only benefactors of the $4.8m
Dr Tukuitonga clearly stated that our grass roots agencies who have proven records and have been at the engine room of so many projects that have benefited our Pacific communities will be able to put their hands up for part of the $4.8m appropriated funds in the 2010 Budget.
Dr Tukuitonga says the allocation of $4.8, the largest in MPIA history, will be administered by the Ministry and that the Pacific Economic Development Agency Ltd will not be the only providers in contention.
Radio 531pi was right to ask the questions and keep the open dialogue going and whether this announcement is a damage control strategy or something that was always going to happen, it is now out and our agencies are able to throw their hat in the ring.
Good news indeed.
